   A Cherish of Sky

In the captured circle of the moon
the sky has opened another and another
more moons across the bloom of midnight
until the night glows like quiet candles
and shadowed lace branch the lawn

See how the trees talk
with heavy breath they sigh into each other
touching  on a sound like wings
falling falling into the pale
float of air like light rain

I  love your face
leaning into the light
eyes of you open me
and the silken slither of my youth remembers
how magic is bare skin
and a cherish of sky

Well now I see that we need to go from Hankie Alerts to Watch out for the Goosebumps warnings....

and yes, Martie, in answer to that question:  we have surely crossed paths....

Time and time again you do this....time after time you give me poetic chills and envy, and every time I read these, I start talking out loud to myself in awe and delight...
one would think after awhile I wouldnt be so "surprised" that you do...must be that each time you surpass the time before...
yeah.....that must be it.
this is AWESOME....I saw that moon lastnight and I thought of you...I hoped you were seeing it too. I took pictures... you wrote one with your words.

I love this line and where you've taken it. . . indeed to the very sky that you speak of. . .

wonderful in form and in content. . .

May love and light always shine upon you!
