On sunlit dimpled flow
We drifted

Lazy summer day
Passed letting currents guide
As we, like lizards, warmed blood
Long chilled by
Drizzled greys.

Hour shed clothes
Piled in bottom of boat
Each new revelation
Pinking until anointed
With oil

No shame in naked thoughts
Or hedonistic enjoyment
We felt the river move
Then moved the heavens
Where they had been reflected

Cpat

Nothing like floating with no shame and just the sun to blame.  I am enjoying your poetry!

Unfolding now are nakdthoughts
shed beneath the gray of skies.
Drifting, lazy comes the warmth
as sun begins its peak of rise.

We lay together 'til the fullness
of the moon would share it's face
No shame in ever sharing love
above/beneath blue heavens grace.

We felt the river move
Then moved the heavens

It is like rolling thunder,
a feeling we don't soon forget.

So so nice!

It would be nice to adopt your style of writing, but no one does it quite like you...

Flows beautifully, Cpat!

We felt the river move
Then moved the heavens
Where they had been reflected

just like the river.

Sensual and soft images you've painted here....and so exquisitely as well.  I loved the light, airy feel of this...beautiful work!
