Lend Me A Shoulder

~*Grandma Marge*~

Lend me a shoulder, Grandma
where softly I can hear the whispers
of your heartfelt sighs
Where I can dream my dreams
setting my wings to fly~

Lend me a poetic moment
to send me off in slumber
To The Cave of the Good Dreams
where happy thoughts wander~

Oh, my sweet Delaney
may you always stay
on the shoulder of this Grandma
for all our days~

*I thank the Lord for the joy of this child*

Margie girl Oh my stars this is so utterly adorable, and yes she looks perfect on you darling Margie

This is really fabulous writing sometimes when you don’t expect it showers of moonbeams descend on you. They dropped like little twinkles of delight when I read this. Oh my eyes they are refreshed and my soul is washed in joy this is sooooooooo beautiful

Delaney is truly beautiful

When I read the title, my first response was "Lady, it's yours... anytime you need it." *S* But now that I know it's for baby-holding and not for tears, I'm being a good aunt and volunteering BOTH of mine. LOL

This is beautiful, Marge... The werk monster would skin me alive if I slipped away to The Cave of the Good Dreams *G*... but you've given my thoughts a happy path to wander. *S* May Delaney forever bask in the love and security she finds waiting in your arms. *S*

Marge...

Grandmothering certainly becomes you! Your poems about Delaney are beautiful, and so is Delaney! Your words are so full of love and tenderness. I can't wait to see more.

Marge-
You are just the bestest grandma..
I love this...it's priceless...as are you.
Now...pass little Delaney this way...her
Auntie Vicky has comfy shoulders too, ya know..LOL.
Besides...it's kind of hard to write when you're
holding her, isn't it? LOL
Love you both,
~Vicky
