It Was

It was the whispers of thy touch,
Of lips that pressed to mine.
Words that flowed and kissed this heart,
Binding me to thine.

It was the touching, gentle eyes,
Seeking, arresting mine.
Mesmerizing windows, pooled
Reflecting loving times.

It was the softness, words of voice,
Raising love in mine.
I kiss the whispers from thy lips
Spellbinding me to thine.

It Is

It is the tears that flow to cheek,
Of dampness, moistened thought
Concealing, holding nakedly,
Such love of feelings fraught.

It is the wants, desires too
That tamper with mine sought
Engaging use of silentness
In web of thine 'tis caught.

"For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart.
It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul."
(J.Garland)

Very well written the two sides of the coin, an excellent example of poetry in motion

Well done very well done

It was ... and still is,
this magical weave of deep
and truthful thought
that keeps me at awe,
each word I keep,
and ache they have brought.

Very nice indeed. Chris

I loved this gentle poetic before and after, Maureen..

It was the touching, gentle eyes,
Seeking, arresting mine.
Mesmerizing windows, pooled
Reflecting loving times.

Beautifully done...

It was
the feeling
of your work
that drew me in.
It is
the depth
of your
feeling
that brings me back
everytime.
