I wrote this for a friend of mine today.It's simple but get's the point across.

It happened just the other day.
It happened in a miraculous way.
A child was brought onto this earth.
More than gold was all it's worth.
A child for me to give my love.
A child sent from up above.
A child filled with beauty and grace.
When I see this child my heart begins to race.
Now there'll be someone looking up to me.
Trying to see all that I see.
A little hand to hold when we walk.
A million questions to answer when we talk.
A child smiling up at you.
A child to be held when they're feeling blue.
U is for the unconditional love that you give.
N if noticing them from within.
C is for caring day by day.
L is for laughing with them along the way.
E is for the eternity you two shall share.
And always let them know that onone else could compare.
