Would you come with me and take a walk with me along the picket fence where we planted seeds. Would you sit by me on one of either sides and talk quietly about the mysteries. Of the fall away into some other day and why the blooms of youth fly so far away. They said to me go about your way fill all your days and every lifelong dream. There were babies born that became todays as the years passed by and they're grown one day. Time marches on circling around the days back to way back when where tomorrow strays. Thanks to all of you for reading my simple minded poem. I was thinking of using that as my title after the fact. I'm a little down and out having my own private pity party tonight. Just be glad you weren't invited!! You are all so nice and I thank you kindly. |
