Full Moon at Eventide

The ivory moon
rises against
the steel blue sky
nestled between
barren branches
of the locust
in winter's sleep.

A stillness
so profound
clutches the evening
creating a beauty
barely able
to be fathomed.

Night's Lamp lighter
has kissed the hour
with illuminating dazzle
that touches
my soul.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

thank you, all, so happy I could share the moon with you and that you saw it, too, Sunshine

Thank you, too, for reading and taking time to reply. It was too gorgeous a sight to enjoy all alone.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.
