Run with me through the valley
Amongst the fields of Summer green
Let's lay down by the river
And listen to the water so serene

Swim with me in the ocean
Let's plunge into the depths of the sea
Down below we'll find a hidden treasure
A bounty of love for you and me

Come with me to paradise
Let's go to heaven you and I
Two souls forever united
As our love reaches for the sky

Walk with me along the seashore
As our love moves with the tide
This love we share is timeless
Such feelings we cannot hide

Bathe with me beneath the moonlight
By the light of the silvery moon
Immersed in our love forever
Our hearts play in perfect tune

Sue,
every romantic bone in my body is humming with this poem...I'm surprised you can't hear it.

Beautiful poem Sue and I'm sure the settings you describe are equally lovely living where you do!

Whoa.  It's getting sultry down under
Well done!

"Immersed in our love forever
Our hearts play in perfect tune"

Such  wonderfully romantic words. This was so light and springy and I found myself smiling through the whole poem. I love the way you write. Thank you for sharing your talent.
