I was not your friend
neither were you mine
instead we found a breif
escape in the life of the other

What did it bring?

Nothing worth salvaging
or remembering
you are there
I am here
& as you say,
it's for the best...

Perhaps...

and where is
the crystal ball
when needed...

Sometimes those brief interludes are a necessity.
I'm happy you recognized it as such

Yes, I agree with Interloper.  And, something came from it, even if it was this sweet brief poem...we live and learn, constantly. Enjoyed!  Well done.

(sigh) Soooooooo wonderfully thought-provoking, sweet friend, everyone needs friends and when one experiences the life outside of it, it can teach us so much and encourage us to embrace others with our hearts! (big hugggsss) We all love you so much, sweet friend, you are a very loving and delightful friend to us all! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Tiersdin, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
