My child

Oh child of mine
I love you so much
I'm sorry for the history
Causing you to repeat time

I wish I could take all your pain
And put it all on me
For it wouldn't hurt anymore
Then what my eyes alrady see

I'm proud of you
Your bravery too
For it takes alot of gutts
To really look then seek help
When you and your world
Are going nuts

Hang in there Love
Gods still above
and understands your anger
Just for today, shut up and listen
Or you'll end up out there in danger

this is touching and moving...its beauty lies in its sincerety.
Reminded me of a poem I read that a mother wrote to her son going off to war.
well done poetess Connie...good to see you posting again.

"Never made it as a wise man
couldn't cut it as a poor man stealin
Tired of livin like a blind man
sick of sight without a sense of feelin"
