Yea,
Thou I walk between the lines
Searching for meanings to find
I will fear no evil
At what they’ll spill;

My shroud of proud hiding
Ancient rags that mummify

My heart lies in the drum
Skin that still death defies

Yea
Those demons are friends of mine
I walk with them in hopes to find
Lost meaning to archaic writings
Visions of long dead sightings

To plunge my dagger deep
Open the drum’s unbeaten skin

To rip back that pounding
Removing the heart within.

Yea,
Once removed with demon swirl
Dancing banners will then unfurl
~ between the lines of hero tread
~ ~ returning the dance of the dead.

Gloom

O my poor, poor man
Are you afraid to understand
The joy of Sping she brings
Are you afraid to sing.

Make merry a heart, like wine
And love her, not your mind
For love lives forever on
And when you die your mind is gone.

Just a litlle loving thought, gloom. A bit of light to balance your darkness.

Enjoyed, as always.

indeed, a unique play here between the two. . . makes this pair fit together well. . .
