The Shores of Alone

0 posted 2002-02-24 08:45 PM

Lush palm trees sway under the moon
the ocean glows in crystal kiss
I walk with knowledge it is soon
he comes to me, return to bliss.

Awash in sweet plumeria
I feel my heart beat as a drum
the birds are sharing arias
I sip of life's fruit flavored rum.

The time is now, I hear him sing
I do not dance in lonliness
our hands rejoin, together cling
he glides wth me in love's caress.

The plumeria is my favorite flower,
something about the fragrance and how it blends with the romance in the air.

I really liked the tropical flavor in this.
Nice going Sandra~

Sandra - sweet poetess, I love this, makes me long for one of those tall, cool drinks with the little, paper umbrella's topping it off. hugs, Chris

Catalina I cannot tell you how very much I love this verse.

"Awash in sweet plumeria
I feel my heart beat as a drum
the birds are sharing arias
I sip of life's fruit flavored rum."

It is simply beautiful. floria

Sandra,

the birds are sharing arias
I sip of life's fruit flavored rum.

I send you palm trees from Florida.
