So each morning when I awoke.
Another piece of my heart was broke.
I tried to live from day to day.
And moved along in a somewhat normal way.
My mom would have to work until late at night.
Sometimes we were lucky if we even caught a sight.
For she worked all of her waking hours.
So what little food we had, they could devour.
Alot of times we ate off the tips she made.
She tried to scrimp and tried to save.
Then when I was very young.
A man I knew took my insides and when he was done.
The things he did hurt me so.
I dind't know if I was to leave or to go.
My heart continued to break.
At every touch that he would make.
No one ever knew until I was older.
No one knew that my heart had turned colder.
Finally we were rid of him.
I went back to my life, once again.
My mom felt so lost in this great big world.
With two little boys and a middleaged girl.
So I pushed everything way, deep down.
And hoped no one would find what I had found.
I gave up lot's of things as a child.
To see both of my brother's smile.
I figured why in the world should they hurt.
They never knew any of the dirt.
An emotional wreck at the age of ten.
When would be the day that I would win?
So we went along day by day.
Trying to stay out of each other's way.

The ring of this is so very real...and hard to write, I would imagine...

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Peaches, this is so very sad, my heart goes out to you and your tears and feels for all you had to go through and I hope now you have found new comfort and joy that overshadows all the pain of before! (BIG HUGGSSSSSSS) We all love you so much, sweet friend, all our thoughts are with you always! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Peaches, thank you for sharing!
