What is it to give a thought? try to pass one to limelight barflies have advice to send across solar skies lie in earthy beds, face the ceiling stars Review the title page peruse the chapter contents unpublished books wait for shelf space what is this thing to have thoughts? No thought for what will ill you? thoughtless times, taking pills that thrill thoughts of missing links between generations sorry thoughts when love is lost in way stations. Friendly tramp walking with rose in hand a thought for a pretty girl, wanting a man what is this, to have a kind remembrance? take this advice...have thoughts, face ceiling stars. Thoughts are often all there really is. At least, that's a thought that just came to me now as I stared at the ceiling, looking for some stars of encouragement and peace. |
