The Shores of Alone

Staring from my widows walk
I stand humming in the moonlight
Embracing the shadows of the eclipse
Waiting for my lover to meet me tonight

I gaze over the ocean
your aura flows around me
promises shall be fulfilled
the answer calls from the sea.

I watch the moon marry the stars
Jasmine kites fill my thoughts
Breathing your sweet perfume
Feeling your whispers so sweet and soft

Such tenderness and beauty
in your touch of lavender
heartsongs drifting on the wind
your dreams wrap me in wonder.

Ocean thoughts cradle me in your heart
Rocking me leeward to loves certainty
I never thought I could make it this far
Now you have convinced me as you kiss me

And so it shall always be
together, eternally.
