A little lamb is born today, I thought I'd let you know,
her sister didn't made it though, I had to let her go.
This one I thought was paralized, so I called in the vet,
he said: "Oh no, not paralized, she will be standing I bet".
Exersize for a few days, your hand will be the helping tool,
I held her under mother's milk and she drank her belly full.
And to my own astonishment, when I came back to look,
she was standing by herself and saw first steps she took
She is a fighter, I can see and she will be alright
Don't you think she's adorable? I'll get my sleep tonight.

don't be jealous now, next month there will be lots more and I'll name them all after you, male and female

I thought it would be a nice late birthday gift to our Vicky, as she had her birthday yesterday.

Titia - such a sweet blessing she is. Glad you let us know about this. Chris

Oh Titia this is incredible!  I have never even been on a farm (except for Maplewood Farm for the kids), how absolutly lucky you are to have this kind of life.  I adored this and what a tender thought of you to give Vicky a sweet rememberance for her birthday.

Live today like it was your last day on earth!

Titia-
Have I told you, lately, that I love you?
Well, I DO!!   You're the best!
This is so sweet of you, and the best birthday
present I could ask for...she's adorable!
Thank you so much, my friend.
You've truly made my day!
Love and hugs,
~Vicky

Sweet little Vicky! Isn't a live animal birth just the most amazing thing to see? I really believe every human being on the planet should witness a live birth, and then be asked to help nurture the baby. Maybe, just maybe, we would all understand the sanctity of life a bit more??? Never mind me, I am a vegetarian. Many people think I am "off the wall" with this idea. But what if? Imagine...

I really really really really (repeat at least 10 more times: really)
like this, Titia.  I was raised on a farm; the miracle of first steps always gave
me cold chills, but this lovely poem, and the great snap's to go with it,
gave me warm thoughts.
Thank you for them,
my best to Mom, daughter,
and to you, Titia,
tSR
