She paints such whimsical pictures
From her limitless palette of words
Images literally come to life
Yet no sound is there to be heard

You are honoured with a front row seat
To the window of her soul
As she weaves her magical tapestry
Making empty hearts feel whole

Swept away by her romance
Her words dance upon the page
You feel yourself being transported
To another time - a bygone age

She'll fill your heart with wonder
Leaving a lasting smile on your face
She is the definition of romance
A lady of sheer elegance and grace

Dearest Sue..you just don't know what perfect timing you have.

This is like a giant hug that you sent all the way across the ocean..and I just happened to be the lucky one. I want you to know that this was needed and I just cried from the uplift you gifted me.

You all are so beautiful. Just when I feel so off key..yall toss perfect notes into my life song. I wish..I only wish..that I could be here to read every word you have ever thought!!

For that is how my heart paints..and scribes and jabbers sometimes within these walls..because of the comfort and art of friendship yall make me feel.

And YOU..Miss Sue...have me at your mercy..I'd fold my hand and bow out with honors in any poetic match of hearts..you are genuinely a Royal Heart Flush!!

I promise you I will keep this Forever. Even if it was a tribute to someone completely unknown to me..It is gorgeous!!..And I am so honored.

From my heart to yours..thank you so much.

Many, many hugs.

Sincerely,
Regina

So true, so true. What a great poem, Sue, and a wonderful tribute to a truly incredible poet, whose imagery sometimes makes me feel as if I am floating on a magical breeze.

Thank you all so very much for reading this tribute to Regina.  I was afraid I might embarrass her and that is not what I intended.  Her words have always been uplifting to me and it is just something that I wanted to do.

To you Regina, I would like you to know that I wrote this especially for you alone yesterday afternoon.  The words just seemed to flow so I must have had your guidance as I was writing.  Thank you for all of your encouragement afforded to my own writing.  I am indebted to so many people here.

Take care.....Sue

Ahhh how sweet and you don't know how timely your poem was as someone is working their bottie off right now and could sure use a supportive hug.  Great poem and so true, but it takes one to know one and so I think from one Queen of Hearts to another, this was fantastic dedication to her and to you.  Kudos

This is a very well done poem that sings its message in such great depth.

Blessings that others poets can inspire you to bring out your natural talents within.

That wasn't a nice dedication, it was a beautiful one.  I could tell by how Regina answered this that she absolutely loved it, and well she should.  I know it sounds impossible, but your writing keeps  improving my friend.   Your pal, Roger
