Krissy
Dedicated to my daughter

Krissy came through like a wind last night
Scattering some smiles and a little light
She alighted like a butterfly sipping at you
Reading as much as she wished to do
She left messages for you here and there
On the poetry you all had to share
She read your words muttering oh divine
While I muttered that computer is mine

Krissy whirled through this hallowed place
Enclosing you in her happy embrace
I’m in the door she squeaked with glee
Then set about replying rapidly
Typing so fast that I saw smoke rise
Wearing an Oh Look in her eyes
Oh mum she called out read this please
While I muttered get your hands off my keys

Krissy appeared here in these hallowed halls
Her vibrant voice echoed off the walls
She shouted her name out for all to hear
Saying I’m Krissy I bring good cheer
So now my daughter will be stopping by
With laughter and her my oh my
Mum have you seen the flow of this line
While I mutter Krissy this haven was mine

Marsha

Marsha, darling girl. Krissy is so wonderful. I could immediately tell she was little Mushy, just full of joy and love for everybody. And what a mum you are. I adore Krissy, as I adore you. God has blessed you with a rare galaxy of Love. And I pray that His blessings in Love and Light will always be deep in your huge wonderful loving heart. I love you, Marsha and I love Krissy, because she seems to be just like you. So here is two kisses, one for each of you. XX.

Marsha, this is cute!  I can see you are a very proud mum!  And Krissy is just adorable!  Perhaps there might have to be another computer in the house soon.
Loved it Mushy Girl!

This is delightful and refreshing!  It made me smile.  The first line drew me in, and the ending of all three were just lovely.
Very loving and cute.

Marsha - Very funny.  It looks like you will have to get your daughter her own computer for her birthday.

[Hearty chuckling to be heard...] And I thought you could keep secrets?  Well, apparently the cat is out of the bag, and the daughter is in the room, so keep things clean, Mother...

and it delights me to know that while you have a Krissy...I have a Krystal...

and they both have poetic mothers!

Noah darling boy I thank you darling boy but Krissy really doesn’t write anything other than letters. Her least favourite subject at school was creative writing. She loves reading though so she’s happy to respond. I did say that since the general rule was to thank people by responding to their writing she wouldn’t be thanked and she said oh well tell them to thank me in other ways. I can’t imagine what she meant but knowing my Krissy it was something inappropriate.

And I still don’t know who else she responded too, I only hope she didn't bounce around these hallowed halls too much.

Newell darling boy thank you muchly, although if you ask Krissy if she is very much like me she’ll deny it hotly. And to be honest although she sounds similar and is very much a lively soul I don’t think she is quite such a live wire. I know that would be too much to bear The next time she’s here I’ll give her your kiss. Thank you

Nancy darling girl thank you muchly, she does actually have her own computer , at her own home, but she isn’t connected to the internet so she still uses her email addy here. In fact she’s actually been in her own place since Feb last year. When she wants to use the net she does it here. Normally she’s fairly good but when she got on here last night she was glued to the screen. She was so pleased to be a PIP’s member. She’s wanted to drop little notes on all and sundry for ever, but the thing that pushed her into plea bargaining with me was Keth’s poem Footprints. Well, lets just say it was the crowning point in a week of beauty where she couldn’t be the silent reader any longer. She has been reading you all for a few weeks, she just hadn’t joined as such. But last night she did

Rosemary darling girl thank you muchly, I’m really pleased that you liked it. That first line is a definite description of Krissy last night she went through Passions like a dose of salts. I tried bribery, hot chocolate coffee, buttered toast, even chocolate mousse, she wasn’t budging an inch. I did actually wish to make some replies myself last night, but unfortunately it took a long time to get her off the computer. She had said at 1am she was going home but that didn’t transpire.

Never mind she was happy

Dave darling boy she has it love, she isn’t a baby, we are talking 29 years old here. She hasn’t got the internet because for her it’s not worth having an extra phone line for something she’s not at home often enough to get the benefit of. She can’t tie up her ordinary line because of Key-holder duties so she uses mine. Also it means she gets to spend an evening or two with her mum.

Glad you liked it kid

Kari darling heart sister she’s a daughter to be proud of, except when she clogs up my reply time. We’ll work it out, she loves your writing darling girl that I do know. She said you have a sophisticated and complicated rhythm and rhyme patterns that look deceptively simple but aren’t. Well-educated darling heart isn’t she. Big grin it’s amazing what you pick up in college

Marsha,
This is one of your best. I love the way you went from proud mom to resentful computer-user in the space of a paragraph. I'm chuckling about this.
