A Whistle day

(Reposted with a wish for you all to have one of these of your own)

Have you ever had a whistle day?
One of those days where
no matter what happens
you just sail right through it,
usually the sky is blue
and the air clean and crisp,
like an apple
and just as sweet.

That’s the way today was,
and even though I was looking
and couldn’t find where I needed to go,
I kept on looking
and eventually the curb slowed
and the numbers corrected themselves,
and the gate was open,
even the dog
was small and brown
and licked my awwww.

So, this whistle it just sounded
sharp and keen across the sky,
the trees were perfect outlines
for zapping back and forth
without touching a leaf
or disturbing a pine cone

and I just thought
to write the notes down
so I’d remember how the tune went
you know,
so I could play it again
some cold December rain
and know that no matter how bumpy,
I’m talking here about the road
the path that has no sign posts,

the whistle can come back around
and touch me, see.

(smiles) Awwwwwww, this is soooooo beautiful, sweet friend, this reminded me of the song in Snow White "Whistle While You Work", which I watched when I was a kid and still do every now and then, and it has touched me so much I try humming a merry tune as I am busy to keep me content! (kiss on cheek) We all love you so much, sweet friend, Yay for Whistle Day! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Martie, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Martie, this is so charming! But I do have to wonder a bit, first you have Tim with calloused palms, and now a dog is licking your awwwww? "I'll have whatever she is having, folks!" (or has she been having what I am having?)

Either way, Martie, I appreciate the smile this morning!

this is cute, yep, I had a whistle day once and my tongue stuck to a peanut butter leftover on the roof of my mouth, Gawd,
what a laugh that was!
