Idle Dream

I lay awake
in idle dream
Your visage, my
thought’s theme
Sweet smile hold
fast heart’s dance
Free captive of
love’s trance
If wishes could
would come true
Mine would plead
to lay with you
Hold you tight
in soft embrace
Feel my love
In heartbeat’s race
