Somehow
By: Noah Eaton
2/22/02

Dear God, do you remember me?
And all the rest of your earthly family?
Do you still play loves zither like yesterday?
Do you blanket the children anymore as they sleep?
Sometimes I feel I can never find Your arms
I climb over the rainbow and I just fall to my knees
Sometimes I find the moon crying for a falling star
Life can be so fragile, the sorrow can strip us of our wings

Yet I know I must go on
I am bleeding but I must stay strong
For I know I'm not alone
Together love could find a way

Hold on, never stop dreaming
Hold on, never stop believing
Everybody cries sometimes
We'll all find a way out
Somehow...

For I've learned that there's a silver lining in every cloud
There is always grain and fruit among life's manger
Sacrifices must be made, and every blessing must be paid
Sometimes the lightning crashes and the rain seems to fall forever

Yet I know I must go on
I am bleeding but I must stay strong
For I know I'm not alone
Together love could find a way

I can't seem to manifest anything
All I can do is pray and sing
If I can make it through this doldrums alive
If I can cherish this life
God, do you still feed all your sparrows?
Do you still bloom flowers for little girls?
Who will dry out this flood of tears?
Will we ever find a peaceful world?

Until then I know I must go on
I am bleeding but I must stay strong
For I know I'm not alone
Together love could find a way

Hold on, never stop dreaming
Hold on, never stop believing
Everybody cries sometimes
We'll all find a way out
Somehow...
Somehow...
Somehow...

We are all angels finding a voice...
We are all brothers and sisters of Jesus
Trying to find our wings...

Yes we will all find happiness in our own way and time...congratulations on 7000...
Somehow and somewhere...listen to Israel Kamakawiwo'ole singing "Somewhere Over The Rainbow/What A Wonderful World" someday if you have a chance.  It's on his CD called "Facing Future".  It is a fantastic song...James

Noah, already 7000. You know what that shows me, besides a very busy poet? A wonderful man, who care about everyone on here and takes the time to reply to us all.
I really love you, Noah. You make the future look hopeful.
