There's a pussycat in my barn
she just wandered in one day
A little tiny pussycat
she's going her own way

There's a pussycat in my barn
but she is still afraid of me
Today she let me pet her back
I think she has been set free

There's a pussycat in my barn
a little tiny pussycat
Her eyes are asking "am I safe,
will you take me as your latest pet?"

There's a pussycat in my barn
and we are softhearted I know
We could't send her on her way
We just can't let her go

There's a pussycat in my barn
I took her on my lap tonight
I kept her firm and petted her
so she will know that we're alright

There's a pussycat in my barn
two cats already accepted her
Blind Kyra won't I know that's true
"I smell a stray" she did purr

There's a pussycat in my barn
and I think she's there to stay
Little tiny stray pussycats
they just always know their way

to our heart

Just wait! Until I can post some of my barn cats...We had Cleo, Claude, Pepper, then a scattering of so many we could never name them all...

and just as precious as this one!

Thanks, I will keep you informed. She's such a lovely little one, probably dropped by someone, that happens a lot overhere.

Awww I am such a kitty lover. I was looking in the paper today at the spca ads for kittes up for adoption. I wanted them all. But I alrady have 3 that fight all the time, so I held back.
Course if one just showed up at my door, that would have to be another story

There's a not-so-small pussycat in my lap
All securely curled up, taking a nap
Years ago, her mother became a part
Of my life and unexpectedly claimed my heart
I tamed her wild, she soothed my soul
Mother, daughter and me... a family whole.

I liked this very much, Titia... People throw animals out all too often... the lucky ones find a loving home. And your beauty is obviously a very lucky little cat! *S*

Titia - this is darling. Also took in a stray one time, and presented us with at least ten kittens, but loved she was with all of them.

Titia-
What a gorgeous cat!
You are such a wonderful and loving person,
my friend...no wonder all the pussycats find you.
They just know...

Oh, isn’t she a cutie?? She knew where to come, to find the biggest welcome, and the biggest heart in all of the Netherlands!!

If she who dies with the most toys wins, then can I have some toy boys please?

Thanks for your replies and here the latest news:

She's no longer in the barn, but in the house, taken up her space quite calm, so even blind Kyra is so confused, she forgot to jump on her. Oh well maybe she still doesn't know it's a cat LOL

Titia, this is lovely!  Cats can be such loving pets, but their owners have to give lots of love.  Lovely lovely, ME
