In this hour
As pondering the clouded
Curious eyes of fate
I wander aimless in step
Tripping over again
Yet again
The same ideas
The same insane emotions
I think of you.

Not what was,
But what I imagined
On those lone night waits
For sun to rise and give light
Or at least false warmth
To my soul

While still pacing paths
Spiraled into grey mattered
Musings

Knowing no answers
But longing for at least
A moment’s respite
From those cold clouded eyes
I wish again for your touch

thanks for the nice words... it is nice to be back at least for a while... perhaps it is when our own hearts and souls become to full or too heavy we have to write... and it is the common human experience that connects us to the words of others. I think mine not better at expressing, but outside the spirals you too walk...making them seem at least for an instant a new way to look at the things inside..

You've been missed, m'friend! And I was just discussing pain as a rather dubious muse with a friend recently. Glad you are back!
Hugs.

You've touched on it with that correctness that is always present in your words...when we are "too full" and need to release, we write...

'bout time you pushed away from the dinner table...

Cpat

Those pondering curious eyes of fate make me wonder too..and seems you are doing much pondering lately, hopefully fate will lift the clouds and bring you sweet clarity.  Keep writing!
