The dreams of yesterday
flow upon currents
into the oceans of tomorrow.
With each rise of silver moon
the tide washes upon the shores
of life~

Imprinted in the sands of time
are the footprints of yesterday.
The surf pounds upon the grains,
trying to erase the past.
     Time
~oh yes time ~
will not let go of the
sweet memories
that have washed upon
it's shores~

In defeat the tide
makes a retreat
back into the
twilight of
days gone by.
The river flows past
the channels of remember
into the dawn of tomorrow~

~It is there that my heart
  will forever sail
  in the vessels
  of your love~
