The words flow so smooth as silky love
Yet......can they once be as real as today.
as love falls from lips onto the stage.
For whose lips, whose eyes should they be?

Can these words be for a love held as one?
Or..are they but part of the king’s game.
Can words with softness be of one true?
Or just be chess, a small pawn and a king?

Let not lips speak of love not to be given.
Lest hearts feel the pain of loss, rejection
Let not a heart be teased into the darkness
For hearts are fragile, of tender softness.

For love is not a game to play in jest
or something given not from the chest
And a heart will break if ever taken
to a game of silky love now forsaken.

Magnus darling boy this is without doubt one of your utter best, the flow of this couldn’t be bettered. As I’ve mentioned before darling boy you are a poet. This is sooooooo true and real, it touches deep into me today.

What can I say except this is utterly wonderful.

BRAVO!!! YES, I TOO THINK THIS IS ONE OF YOUR BEST EVER!!! (big hugggsssss) I love the voice in this, its as if we're not playing the game by the rules if we don't give from the heart in sincerity and if we can, it would be a scholars mate to eternity! (smiles) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is fabulous! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Barry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Wonderfully done! It brought to mind images of gallantry.

When the other person is playing a game, and your heart doesn't know it-that's when the pain is real. You did this very well.

Hi there Magnus it’s Krissy, I seem to be following in my mum’s (Marsha) footsteps because she’s answered this one too.

Which probably goes to show we both have excellent taste, this is very very well written I think it’s absolutely super

Barry - great words. Love is not to be a game, as you write.
