I have seen your belly scar Arizona where the arrow of the civil one made desert hand tattoos where your jagged dark acne is a proud woman breast rising from the tan earth of your bosom in summer I have felt your heat when you touched my hand with your breath at night I have heard the wolf ghosts when they drink from the empty sky when they spoke around campfires of whirlsand about your gold Arizona and the metal bird has showed me your treasure skin place I will let you sleep til morning then I will know your canyons with my manhand eyes will you dance for me then when you wear the morning jewell on your brown skin woman will you feed me with crave mouth want for your deep water will you name your sand children after the hollow of my wind voice ©Dark |
