Of Toads and Roads

It is a lonely toad
Upon a lonely road
That jumps the other way.

And there are some would say
He leaps too far astray.
Unknown his future way

He bares his back a cross
Yet jumps with inner force
His goal a waterway

A place of Shangri-la
Where ever it may lie?
A place that’s not too far

For he would find forever’s wend
A jump beyond old waters end

Mike,
Check on the weather report. It says rain and storms all day till Sunday. If that's the case I got second thoughts. I'll check again and call. Good for the toad not for the road.

Bal's response sidetracked my mind into thoughts of you two hopping through the rain... as a mental image, that's definitely a keeper! LOL

I like this very much, Seymour... sometimes we have to jump because to stay still is to die... but looking for a landing place can be pretty scary. *S*

Stay dry and safe, guys... I'd sure hate to have you croaking. *G*

Come hang out at my lily pad
my dear lonely little frog
It may not be Shangri-la
but it's heaven in a bayou bog

We'll watch the clouds go by
eat an occasional dragonfly ...
We'll chat with the fish below
we'll see just what wisdom they know.

We can croak all day
a game of leap frog we'll play
and count on this, there will be a kiss
cuz we all know you are really a prince.

Suthern,
We were thinking of driving to Orlando but the weather report looks bad. Love your comment.

Seymour - I gather from the replies that you might be going to Orlando. Be careful of them frogs there, they eat alligators! I see that you live in Florida, but they grow them bigger in the central part. Good write...

(giggles) This is sooooo cute, sweet friend, there's nothing like life on the open road, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Seymour, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
