A State of Disarray

0 posted 2002-02-22 12:26 PM

What conjecture
Irradiates
Your copper green heart...
An unresponsive soul
Poised
Upon our absent settee
Yearns
Calls
For figurative repose.
Oh, temperate gristle of life
Sever hope-
Obliterate dreams-
Yield to avantegard emotion.
In undaunted timimg,
Forego docility,
Scream-
Then comply,
My emissary heart,
Castigate this copper stain
Remain
...golden.

Thanks Bill..."I had a lonely childhood...the dictionary was my friend..."

Amusemi....*smiling*  didn't forget about you!  Been a wee bit busy,
but the parallels between a neglected bronze/copper, as it turns to
an aged unsightly green described so well the feeling of lost and
damaged love here.  Such wonderful descriptive phrasing.
Hope you are well, and smile at the sun!

(big hugggssssss) I understand how you feel, sweet friend, I too had no friends when I was very young and I actually didn't discover writing until I was sixteen two years ago! (sigh) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is soooo wonderfully expressed! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

amusemi...I like the subtle; yet simmering emotion beneath your words. The poem is an excellent display of magic within words.
