through some morning window I reached to feed you words your eye mouth was hungry you ran as hurry foot woman to the table of my magic I read your smoke after from the daylight of high places you lit you fires of wet and fanned them to river strength with hand blankets in evening you were willing silk you hid in the room of crowds and moved your legs as wings you flew to my word tree and climbed there without shoes in night skin you brought me gifts your voice chanted my name backwards you left your heart bottom open and gave me the cave of your sleep dream woman we were the songs of night and day ©Dark |
