In Your Poetic Mind

0 posted 2002-02-21 12:35 PM

And we whispered
Of passion held
In our arms
Laughed when
The soft sound
Of snow falling
Was a gentle
Reminder of how
The world is light
with motion

I sit and
Listen to time
Roll by on waves of
Silence
Yet still hear
Our words to each Other

White roses reflect
The windows of
My Heart, as the
Music of flutes
Play their
Harmonic melody
In sweet slumber

I awoke
To brilliant moonlight
Playing with the
Edges of motion
And the echoing
Shadows, dancing in
An orchestra of diamonds

That first winter
I cried, for the
Depth between
Us, for the lullaby
Of life we share

And

How amazing it is
To love you

Step through the
barrier of my mind,
enter my soul,
feel my desire,
let my eyes guide you
into the shadows
of my heart

*SIGH*
I do so love your "lullabies"
this is so soft spokenly beautiful.
You write like your pen is filled with feathers and whispers, snowflakes and sunbeams...summer breezes and spring rains and ... *sighs*

Wow, Lauren...I love the soft way you write.

The soft sound
Of snow falling
Was a gentle
Reminder of how
The world is light
And motion

I think your poetry is as soft as a gentle snowfall.
