The Shores of Alone

0 posted 2002-02-26 12:00 PM

His Kiss
    infused with the passion
       of seductive, frothy Cristal
           born of desire
               wrapped in gold.

His Kiss
    Sinfully intoxicating
far more so than the finest wine
          consumed in drunken foolishness
              and love.

His Kiss
    taste of sweetest honey
        clinging to lips
           leaving soul marks
               imprinted with forever.

His Kiss
    offered to this dying woman
       parched in the desert
           I drank from the mirage
               coated with deceit.

His Kiss
    forceful enough to shatter
       the most formidable resolve

          I crumpled into him
             and then awoke
                alone again.

Nicely presented... and some nice use of form. Sad in content but then again many things in life are not comprised of rainbow endings and sunlit strolls...

an excellent write.... that makes the reader want to offer comfort..and a promise of more than waking alone.

(big hugggssssssss) Oh Sandra, this is so very sad, sometimes the magic can be deceiving in passion, but very soon you will find true love to hold close forever and you will forever suckle the true sweetnes sof love! (kiss on chyeek) We all love you so much, sweet friend, you deserve the greatest happiness always! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Sandra, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!
