standing on a shadow's lace

Unheard

I have cried
my last tear
while I saw you
sipping beer
you did not see me
standing there
a birthday party
unaware
invisible then
as before
invisible in
the love I wore
I have finally
got the proof
you are hers
I saw the truth
I left the room
without a word
a birthday greeting
gone unheard

"Pour yourself thick, when it is you, that you spread."

Your poetry blows me away yet again. Chris

I've always thought of life as being full of rooms. Some so huge we can't see from wall to wall, others almost claustrophobic in their smallness.  All these rooms have doors.
I think it's time for you to walk out of this particular room, close the door behind you,
and hang a sign on the knob that says...Memory Only.

Smile...

(big hugggssssss) Oh Helen, this is so very sad, I don't understand how anyone could ever forget your birthday like that, it is that persons fault, my heart cries out to you! (kiss on cheek) Know you are loved by many and you will never be forgotten by all your true friends, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Helen, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton
