My Heart On Your Sleeve

I've got this little friend, you see
She lives within the heart of me
Sometimes when I'm feeling down
she takes away my every frown

She's shared my joy and my laughter
But it's my heart she's really after
And I've decided I should leave
my very heart upon her sleeve

For she has tended it so very well
surely it is meant to dwell
where she can see it every day
reminding her, should I forget to say
I love you, Vicky~
foreverly and always~

An early birthday verse I writ
giving not the slightest twit
should others join in wishing you
a Happy Birthday to last
THE WHOLE WEEK THROUGH~
