I could have
a chill-rimmed glass
a simple, somewhat tart
chablis...
and ring my tongue
upon the pass--
silences--
soliloquy...
comparisons
of love in burn
I could beckon
my heart's yearn
and drown within
your eyes discern
I wish I'd learn
to set me free...

Goblet, glass, or flagon of wine,
Downing drowning what do you find?
Gazing into the liquid’s reflection,
A mental self inspection.

T’was in a mood for a full bodied red myself,
but any shared would be nice,
enjoyed the poem.

Thanks all, and C? I was just thinking last night about some of the conversations we used to have, and this is just my way of saying thank you for helping me through a nasty episode in my life. You make very good sense my friend, and I will never forget your advice for as long as I live. Thank you.

to set me free...

In due time, my friend.  On that day we choose to be brave!  Not a moment before.  Have I mentioned, lately...you rock!
