I was born a wizard,
died a fool
when magic would not be heard…
I ‘d be set in a corner on stool
away from the curious
In the theatre of the absurd.

There was the current way of thought,
And those who swam against the current,
Would have it difficult to get to the top.
Just learning not to tip
into my past and flip
I chose to self-educate.
Others would use their knowledge to regulate
And keep the wizard away from the curious
in the theatre of the grotesque.

(sigh) We all lobve you so much, swet friend, this is sooooooo powerfully expressed! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Martin, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

I think those individuals who are self educated should be recognized more.  I guess that's the thought in this that stuck with me.  It takes a lot more get-up-and-go to be motivated enough to learn it the hard way.

KUDOS!!

Amusemi,

it does take more get up and go to learn the hard way
