My Two Cats

Feline antagonists
Mischief and Mercury,
Run 'cross the furnature,
Tear up the heap,

Kittifurairborndust,
Up to the freezer top,
Mercury safe at last
Fat cats can't leap.

Telling the story of how my two cats play and chase each other around my apartment until the smaller of the two leaps to the safe zone .... some how that is my chest freezer. There is some unwritten rule about no cat fights allowed on it... and in the bath tub..... {{{{snicker}}}}

Cherish the good memories past and look forward to the adventure called Tomorrow.
But above all... be kind to yourself today.

Oh, that's cute. I love it. Cats add new dimensions to your life don't they? The coughing, sneezing, cleaning up dimensions, I think.

This is so cute, Sherry...I love cats but don't have any right now. I used to have 2 if them and one used to love to eat my spider plants...He would be disappointed now, because my plants are all silk!

Better watch the cat poems around Long John. He is well known for kicking kitties..but, I think it's just a rumour. Good write my friend! They are so cute but I'm afraid I am allergic to cats.

Amusemi~~Cats are better than a television during the Sweeps... and I an ashamed to say I have never read T.S. Elliot although I admit I should read more.

Kethry~~ Thank you, I thought yours was a hoot... and I don't recall you cheating... but I am not familiar with the rules much either.. never saw this style before.

Nan~~ My cats have added dimensions and year to my life... even though I am more than likely allergic to them.... {asthmatic}
I love them and wouldn't trade them for anything.

Lyra~~ I have the same problems with cats thinking that my plants are edible too... but since I have killed just about every house plant I have ever owned... I don't have to worry much.... Silk is great!!!

Nancy~~ Thank you, and for the heads up on Long John, I have kicked a few kitties in my life too... but just ones that urinate on $400 synthesizers left on dining room tables at an X boyfriend's house. I have a kitty allergy too, I just mind not to touch my eyes after I have been petting them..... and I have to keep kicking Mischief off my pillow at night.

Newell~~ I watch them, and feed them and try not to get in their way during "monkey hour" which is what I call it when they start fighting and chasing each other around.
