With day dawning
Stretch
and yawning
sky reflects
in puddle view
I step outside,
greet the rain
Relish morning new

Clouds dark
With slow releasing
Soul soothing
Heart appeasing
Water sounds
cozy call
Snuggle in
Watch them fall

Sleepy smile
Stays in place
Joy inside
Shown on face
Pleasure found
in skies of grey
linger long
sweet rainy day

I've always enjoyed both sleeping and waking to the sound of rain.  This picture looks remarkably like the skies just after a tornado has passed by and the sky is beginning to clear in my area of the country.  The rain and hail would be so loud that if a tornado was on top of you, you would never be able to hear it.  I enjoyed much, my friend. (((hugs)))
