Memories Made to Keep The gentleness of your eyes Is like the soft evening sky The warmth of your arms While you are wrapped up in mine The softness of your lips As my name in hushed whispers slip The tenderness of your fingers Running thru the hair on my chest The softness of your face As my fingers its outline trace The smoothness of your neck As I gentle kiss its long lines The passion in your kiss Makes my heart skip a beat The pleasure I find in you When we slowly give ourselves to each other And the secret treasures you slowly give one after another Then as the fire subsides And our emotions start to flow at low tide We rest in each other’s warm embrace Of which I never get enough I look at my angel And the softness in your face As you silently sleep I think back on the memories we made to keep And realize that every time we touch My love for you grows ever so much Reminding me why I love you And that my heaven on earth Is in plain view ©Alan 02/18/02 |
