Why does the wind whisper your name?
whispering haunting words of love
whispers of ballerina roses
quietly dancing in the fallen snow
and the chill of wintry nights
becomes passion rising within a breeze
ablaze with the fever of your lips

Why does the wind whisper your name?
in the shadows of what could have been
when I was she and you were mine
entwined within a foolish dream
while the clown of fate was laughing
in the wings of "I told you so"
as velvet petals bled upon my heart

"Silence is a friend who
will never betray."
— Confucius

Why does the wind do that to us? It's a plot. That's it!
You said it well, Vic.

(smiles) Ooohhhhhhh...this is soooooo beautifully bittersweet, dearest friend, it too always amazes me how love can call to us in such an exlusive way yet sometimes it just seems to bleed! (kiss on cheek) We all love you so much, sweet friend, this is a graceful wonderful poem! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Victoria, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
