*This is the Gospel Acclamation from my Mass for Peace in Our Time*

Cantor: Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia
Assembly: Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia

Cantor: Lord, we come seeking your peace
Promised to us by your Word
May it fill our hearts
And may your peace fill the world

All: Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia

Cantor: Speak to us this day, O Lord
May we share peace with our brother
Until all mankind
Lives in peace and harmony

All: Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia

Cantor: Lord bring an end to all war
Smash the bonds of hatred
May we lay down our arms
And open them up to your Word

All: Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia

Cantor: Grant to us the peace of Christ
Told of long ago by the prophets
May the universe
Praise his name forever and ever

All: Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia

I suppose peace would visit us if we could turn away from hatred and dwell in the love that God has given us...apparantly as I look at the situations in this world not an easy task...James

The GR8 Voice of the Northland calls for peace ... listen one and all ... give your ears in rapt attention!

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.

I would like to know why you chose this theme to write about?

Can't say I am not a lover of just 'peace', for it has been said that peace is war...so far there has never been one without the other...so I am not optimistic here

thank you all again. . .

why have I chosen to write a Mass?  and, further, why have I chosen to write a Mass for Peace?

well, you can look here: Notes

and, I just did because Peace is something that I feel that we can achieve now. . . it's something that I believe in. . . and I've always wanted to write a Mass.
