Like a river this love flows
with a current steadily strong,
it gently carries me to places
where I know my heart belongs.

I sail upon your oceans
I am lost within your shores,
and when waves crash around us
still this river does endure.

In waterfalls cascading
your essence rains over me,
recedes into my harbors
floods my soul so completely.

Tides move in so swiftly
I find safety in your cove,
let me drift away forever
in the currents of your love.

On the wings of words our spirits fly....and our souls are free.
