A State of Disarray

0 posted 2002-02-18 01:49 AM

Feeling
Is not the place
I visit much
Or care to see

Invisible
A wart exists
I can't explain
That holds me here

Aching
And wanting more
But never seek
Is what I know

Acceptance
Is all I have
Or need to show
To stay alive

Timing
Ends years ago
Can't change it now
And so...and so...

Forgiven
The ones who laugh
Who talk about
Can't understand

Curing
Is on the way
Four years at best
Or so they say

Unchangeable
At times I cry
And dream a way
To not be me

Denial
Is just the place
I visit much
Or care to see

Actually, I had just read something Mistletoe Angel wrote I think it was: "The Ode to Boyhood"-(a really good read BTW) and it reminded me of this.  I have been pulling old stuff off my other computer to clean it up and ready it for an overhaul to give to the kids...so heaven knows what I'll be posting over the next few days.  A lot of it is depressing...sorry!!
