My quest is thee, fair maid in clear of night.
This heart doth beat in chest for soul in light.
Within my breast I do Ye keep from harm
For in warm bed, Ye sleep against my arm..

For thee must know the Drag does stalk thee now
as farm of seed wilt not feel sharp of plow.
Wilt thee not come and take mine own strong hand?
My dear so fair, at lair doth beast now land.

My shield, my sword now lie at my two feet
Of heart and will I wilst desire defeat.
Huge claws and teeth of maw doth you desire.
At night in dark of hole now breathes new fire.

A claw, a tooth, a sword and shield I wield
to slay the beast in night the quest I field.
The foe is near and now the fight is nigh
as beast does seek thee with most dark of eye.

In thy wield of sword and shield
yon dragon shall surely yield
for thy Will is greater than
the terror that he would span

for thy heart is truer gold
than his breath of fire bold

And if thy need to story read
Hike thy pants and then proceed
to prose for the story I tell
of A slayer and dragon from hell.

Barry; Do you know how excited I was to see this poem?  I love these poems you write about slaying the dragon.  Are you reviving Karbar?  Wanda
