I was on the arctic ice,
...up Alaska way,
When I spied a polar bear,
...much to my dismay.

I turned to run, to get away,
...I feared white giant beast,
I had no want to be bear's lunch,
...to be his noon-time feast.

I tripped and fell, and shouted heck,
...I wished I had a gun,
But I did not, so there I lay,
...my life, would soon be done.

I lay there on the snow and ice,
...I'd soon feel claws of death,
In my nostrils I could smell,
...gigantic bear's bad breath.

I turned my head, to sneak a peak,
...before my execution,
To my surprise, there was no bear,
...it was an optical Aleutian.

ROTFLMAO, I love the play on words. and Larry's reply added another giggle. Guess you don't want a big arctic hug for this?

Well that was extremely funny Tim.  And the Aleutian Islands became quite important to Yamamoto in World War II, perhaps your optical Aleutian was a left over?

Live today like it was your last day on earth!
