The Distant Princess

As the moon fades in night sky,
shines on bird and beast in tree,
hear the whispers and her sighs,
from a beauty 'cross the sea,

White roses grow upon the land,
her seeds of life are given free,
washed upon this foreign sand,
their petals as fair as she,

Songs across the raging deep,
sound upon these shores so sweet,
soft as so a man could weep,
and bow down at her tender feet,

Tender lips from which she speak,
that poets lie in silent dream,
great men and kings look meek,
and their tears turn into stream,

As the night draws to and end,
an angel fills my thought,
as day and night begin to blend,
in her thrall I’m caught.

I Ain't your monkey!!!!!!!!!

She doesn't sound real...but, that is the beauty of loving someone...faults disappear, blemishes fade and the person becomes what they've always wanted to be!

It is wonderful to see someone this way...
never stop.

awwwww....... That is so lovely!  I know that your princess is waiting for you to sweep her away forever.

Put your past behind you, not you past in front of you!
