My Wonderful Husband

And so my love has crowned me Queen
he tints my life with roseate sheen
he treats me in a manner so royal
and never hesitates to spoil

each morning he brings me coffee in bed
he rubs my feet and keeps me well fed
he does most of the cleaning and cooking
he's sweet as sugar and so good looking

he's placed me on a pedestal
to him I am a femme fatale
he cares for me like a precious gem
and makes me feel like the creme de la creme

he satisfies my every whim
and keeps my thoughts from feeling grim
at times when I am feeling blue
he always knows just what to do

they don't make men any cuter
he even fixes my computer
our love life glows and flames and smolders
and when I cry, I have his shoulder

I don't mean to make all of you jealous
but my husband's devotion to me is zealous
I know it sounds way too good to be real
but I have gotten the sweetest deal

he's smart as a whip and handsome too
I adore my husband through and through

well then....By all accounts.... I got myself a humdinger..... You described my Sweetie to the T..."he's placed me on a pedestal, ... to him I am a femme fatale" and
"They don't make men any cuter... He even fixes my computer."

I LOVE IT!!! I am glad you wrote this.. couldn't have said it any better.

Cherish the good memories past and look forward to the adventure called Tomorrow.
But above all... be kind to yourself today.

Good for you, Magic...Congratulations!
You look like you might have just gotten married!
I just got married this past October.
I had been married to a wonderful man for 34 years, but he died of cancer in May of 99.
I met David in June of 00; so now I have been married to 2 of the world's most wonderful men.  Both with the same color eyes and both of them lefties!
It sounds like you have quite a sweetie too!
Best of luck to both of you!

Magic...we were married on Oct. 23, which was a TUESDAY,  we wanted to be a little different....and it was a very small wedding, only 30 people, at our condo.
I am very happy and also happy for you!

Doreen, thanks so much for your kindness and your reply. I certainly hope that he thinks he is lucky...actually, he has told me that he feels very lucky also.

Dear Lyra~
I would say your husband is just as lucky, as he has a pretty wonderful wife in the heart of you.

Lyra - You certainly one lucky lady, but he is certainly one lucky man as well.  So basically, if the two of you combine your luck and go to Las Vegas right now, you can probably make a fortune.lol  Seriously though, this was very nice.

By the way, the computer you speak of in this poem. Is that the one with the 100 inch monitor?lol

Martie...thanks so much, We both appreciate each other very very much.

Larry...thanks so much, but he's not perfect.
Close, but not quite......he sometimes leaves lights on.  I always turn the lights out when I leave a room....so there, he's not Mr. Perfect, aferall....just Mr. Pretty close to perfect.

Martin...thanks so much for your reply...I mean, Thank you Polonius.  By the way, how does it feel to be so ancient?

Dave...thank you for replying...Actually I don't have a computer with a 100 inch screen because I don't think its been invented yet, but when it is...I will get one.  In the meantime, the computer in the poem is the one I told you about, which has the 40 inch monitor LOL
