“DANCE FOR ME”
by
Bill Charles
~~~~
This guitar I strum is singing,
playing rhythm, for your muse…
Let it enter you slowly inside,
magic you’ll know, of the blues…
My fingers all over these frets,
close your eyes, just listen…
They’ll talk to you all night,
until you’re moving, in unison…
Your hips swaying, warm all over,
can’t stop, you’re in my trance…
Thoughts of yours will disappear,
all you’ll want, is to take a chance…
Sweet notes of this mellow guitar,
will capture you, of things yet to be…
Come closer, move nearer the stage,
I need you there, dance for me…
Bill - We all need someone to dance in front of our stage, or in our heart.  Very nice.
This poem might inspire me to take guitar lessons.lol
It doesn't matter how full our dance
card is, I suspect there is a particular
one who moves in perfect rhythm,
and who doesn't mind letting us step on
their feet.
Love your romantic words BC~
My brother plays the guitar, only I don't think he's ever done it quite like this...and this would be my preference...
