The Window Of My Heart

The window of my heart, is open wide for you.
Just look inside and you will see my love for you is true.
I do not draw the blinds, nor close the window tight.
I keep it open all day long, and even in the night.

If rain should come my way, I mind not drops that fall.
I do not close my window, I close it not at all.
And when soft breezes blow, It does not worry me
The gentle winds that swirl around, they hum loves melody.

The window of my heart, I keep it open wide.
Perhaps one day you'll come along, and stop to look inside.
And enter at the door, to bring a sweet bouquet.
Perhaps you'll even stay.
Perhaps you'll even stay.

As I look into your open window
I am drawn to you by radiant light
As your softness and beauty are aglow
Lighting every darkess by your sight.

Into your open your heart I quickly run
Seeking wonderful peace and joy, I see
For ev'ry pretty smile, warm feeling there
I relish as God's gift from thee to me.

Thank you floria. Your poem is very, very beautiful.

This is touching indeed, the longing and the desire,
the open window and the staying power of the heart.

Lovely poem Floria~

Hello Floria

Your words warmed my heart and made me smile.  You always weave so much magic with your wonderful words and this would have to be one of my favourites. The images were simply stunning my friend.

Take care........Sue

This is wonderful, Floria...

The window of my heart, I keep it open wide.

Perhaps you'll even stay.
Perhaps you'll even stay.

It tells of what a wonderful welcoming person you are....((huggggsssss))

Well, I'd rather be at the bottom of all this weight than not be here at all...

Don't know what to add...I mean...

..."very, very beautiful...I loved every word...fantastic...sigh, sigh, kiss on cheek, nicely done, I love this, haunting, and so on...GAZOOKS WOMAN! ME THINKS YOU'VE GOT A WINNER!

Really I loved every word, and read it several times...I do so enjoy what you write, my friend.
