Listening to every heart

0 posted 2002-02-25 10:33 PM

Perspective…

There are stars
and stars

You live in yours,
low flung to the horizon
flickering lights
holding souls
some dim
some bright
neon stars of the night

My stars…
are not low
my head slung back
on my shoulders
my neck…
stretching…
my arms outstretched
in case one
should fall into my heart…

there are stars…
and stars…

I’ll take mine…
and leave you yours…
for I heard you
were happy living in them

and me…
happy to just be among
them…

my stars

seen in my poets’ eyes….

As I look at the heavens
I'll alway wonder
Twinkle, twinkle little star
Which star is hers?

Tell her this poet loves her
whereever she is
her star
so far

up there
high
in my starry sky.

I love you, Sunshine, little star.

Beautiful nightime beguile
looking at the stars awhile

I love looking at the stars, Sunshine. They seem to be more beautiful now they I live in the country. Out in the open, you see them better.I never really noticed them when I lived in the city. I like this poem.

Kari darling sister of heart and keeper of dreams truth, you know exactly what I’m going to say about this it’s spectacular. TRULY PERFECTION,

The stars that shine spell your name
Singing their own starry refrain
They shimmer in the night just for you
Speaking gleams that say me too

Little sparkles of silver burning bright
Touching you with soft starlight
They twinkle and shine, as do you
Shimmering touch softly true

The stars in your soul will never fade
Never to feel the doubt of shade
Gleaming brightly you hold them tight
Softly shining sun’s starlight

YOU are an absolute diamond and this is perfectly penned poetry

Love and warm stuff
As always
Mushy
