i can't stop hiding

0 posted 2002-02-16 06:16 PM

most of the poems that i write ryme, i don't write like this because it kinda freeks me out.  well i hope you like it

the madness the frustration
that grips and stops time
a few words and then overflowing
emotions killing and hiding the real personality
inside a deep labyrinth of false truths and half lies
with an inescapable sense of forsakenness
and depression hanging over head
baring a constant hidden reminder
of the past bring pain and morbid ness
horribly mutilating and scaring
the inward body and soul
bring on pain of no source and no cure
finding moments of balance with only physical pain
and coming to the conclusion of only one way out
living in a world where they think they understand
and being pumped full of chemicals that totally hides it all
making the feeling of depression intensify
but hidden under this mask
spending hours in the dark inner mind
and with the decision made and keep a twisted path in order
with depression becoming a constant relapse
adding a new level to the labyrinth every time
finding moments of balance with only physical pain
and coming to the conclusion of only one way out
The madness, The frustration...THE END

Thank you for your time

when you live you die
when you die your forgotten
when your forgotten you truly die

I think this is one of the best ways to write. Don't be afraid to let it all out. Then you can go back over and perhaps find things you never realized that you'd supressed. I enjoyed this. "

For all who watch.Dare you say hello? Come in and ask the questions that are on your mind, but spare me your judgement until you truly sipped of me.

As Temptress and Noah said, let these feelings come up from the deep, and set yourself free. A well written piece. I wouldn't worry about format, rhythm or rhyme. Life itself doesn't usually rhyme, and sometimes it doesn't make much sense either. Keep that pen moving.
